The Southborough Library announced a new (temporary) addition to its circulating inventory.

Hotspot flyerNew Circulating WiFi Hotspots!

A hotspot is a wireless internet access point that lets you connect to phones, tablets, computers, and other devices when you are traveling and away from your home or office. The Southborough Library is pleased to provide this new circulating item to help you connect to resources, including our online databases and catalog when you are on the go.

The portable hotspots are usable wherever there is coverage by T-Mobile. They come with a rechargeable battery and SIM card pre-loaded in device. You can find more information on the device here.

Patrons 17 or older can check out a device for three weeks from the Circulation Desk on the main/upper floor.

(Due to limited supply, they can’t be reserved online. There are also no renewals allowed and late fee fines will be enforced.) They will be available to users through October 2022.

This opportunity was made possible by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
