  • Tuesday Tech Time (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library Teen Room: Need help with technology? Library staff and teen volunteers will make every effort to assist you. Bring questions about ebooks and electronic resources. This is a drop in event; no registrations necessary. Sessions are limited to no more than 1 hour.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Southborough cemetery, 11 Cordaville Road: Free walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center, see newsletter. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Encaustic Painting Demonstration (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Apothecary Artists, 1 Boston Rd: Apothecary Artists is offering classes (fee and registration required). This session instructor Catherine Weber will demonstrate how to paint with pigmented hot bees wax and participants will have a chance to try the technique. (For ages 12-adult.)   • Genealogy Club (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: This is an informal group meeting where you can learn and share tips about resources for researching family history.   • Fundraiser for Ukrainian Refugees (10:00 am – 4:00 pm) @ Transfer Station: Volunteers for the Southborough Rotary Club will be collecting donations to help the Bucharest chapter purchase supplies for refugees from Ukraine in Romania. (Since last weekend’s rain interfered with collection plans.) For details, see dedicated post.
  • One-Day Outdoor Tent Seed Launch (12:00 – 2:00 pm) @ Southborough Library lawn: The Library Seed Exchange is a free program where community members “borrow” seeds from the library at the beginning of the growing season in the hopes they will save seeds from their plants and return a portion to the library. For this event, Patrons take up to 5 seed packets (vegetable, herb & flower seeds are available) and there will be fun children activities and a new Story Walk! Staff will be outside to launch the Library Seed Exchange and available to answer questions. For details, see Library website.

  • Ninja Challenge Southborough 12u Baseball fundraiser (11:00 am -1:00 pm) @ USA Ninja Challenge, Marlborough: Fundraiser for Southborough Youth Baseball to send 12 year olds to the training camp in Cooperstown, NY. Book a 1 hour time slot for kids 4-17 years old to challenge themselves on the obstacle course. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Interboro Community Band Concert (2:00 pm) @ Westborough High auditorium: The community band for the boroughs is holding a free spring concert. (It’s their first since December 2019!) For details, see dedicated post.

Updated (3/22/22 8:12 am): Due to last weekend’s rain interfering with their original plans, the Rotary will be at the Transfer Station this Saturday collecting funds to help Ukrainian refugees.
