Boston Marathon runners, share your fundraising stories

On Monday, April 18th, 10 Southborough residents will be running in the Boston Marathon. (That’s about half the usual number of pre-pandemic participants.)

Some are just in the marathon for the love of the run. But every year a good number or residents are using the event to support causes. I try to share their stories, but it can be a challenge to find all of them.

So, if you’re one of this year’s runners and you’d like to share a cause you are supporting, please reach out!

Email mysouthborough@gmail.com and let me know about your cause and include a link to your fundraising page. You are also welcome to share a message to readers about why you are supporting the cause or what the race means to you.

Over the next couple weeks leading up to the race, I’ll be sharing runners’ news. Stay tuned for the first post this afternoon.
