Two games into the season, Algonquin’s Boys Lacrosse is undefeated. (Let’s hope this afternoon’s game doesn’t change that.) Last Wednesday, they dominated West Springfield 16-4.

It was a rougher week for other Titans varsity teams. The following had mixed results over the past eight days. (Embedded links are for Telegram’s recaps.):
- Girls Lacrosse beat Westborough 15-5 but lost to Bromfield 11-16 (Click links for photos by the Telegram and Owen Jones)
- Boys Volleyball beat North Middlesex Regional 3-1 (Click link for photos by Owen Jones) and Marlborough 3-0, but lost to Lincoln-Sudbury Regional 1-3 and to Andover 2-3
- Girls Tennis beat Marlborough 5-0 but lost to Acton-Boxborough Regional 0-5 and to Shrewsbury 0-5
- Boys Tennis beat Marlborough 3-2 but lost to Acton-Boxborough Regional 0-5 and to Shrewsbury 2-3
- Baseball beat Auburn 5-0 but lost to Shrewsbury 6-7 and to St. John’s 0-3 (Click link for photos by the Telegram)
Baseball also played Lincoln-Sudbury Regional last week. That game was suspended due to darknesses going into the top of the 7th inning. It will be continued on May 14th starting with a tied score, 10-10.
The following teams only suffered losses since my last post on Gonk sports:
- Softball lost to Shepherd Hill Regional 3-12 (Click link for photos by Owen Jones), to Nashoba Regional 0-13, and to Auburn 1-14
- Girls Outdoor Track Meet lost to Wachusett Regional 59-86
- Boys Outdoor Track lost to Wachusett Regional 69-76
Girls Golf and Girls & Boys Rugby were also scheduled to play last week, but no results have been posted.
