This week, four Titans teams will complete in the Central Mass tournaments — Volleyball, Field Hockey, and Boys & Girls Soccer.

Meanwhile, three other teams just competed in important tournaments.

Last Monday, Boys Golf played in their sectional tournament. The team tied for 10th place out of 17 for Central MA Division 1.

Cross Country’s District Championships are scheduled for this Saturday.

ARHS Cheer from Concord-Carlisle Invitational (tweeted by Titans Cheer)It was a big weekend for Algonquin Cheerleaders. They’ve been performing in front of crowds all season, but Saturday was their first competition of the year. They came in 1st place at Concord-Carlisle’s Invitational.

In the Central Mass Athletic Directors Assoc. tournaments, Algonquin is in the brackets for 8 team playoffs. (The Titans were seeded in Class A across the board. Competitors in those brackets vary.)

Girls Soccer is top seed in their bracket. The undefeated Titans shot up again in the updated MIAA Power Rankings on Friday. They are currently in 5th place (and that predates their latest win on Saturday over Nipmuc.)

For the CMADA Quarter Finals, they’ll play 8th seed Leominster on Tuesday. Assuming they prevail, they’ll face Tantasqua or Westborough in the Semi Finals.

Boys Soccer are bottom seed for their brackets. The 8th seed team will play top seed Shrewsbury on Wednesday.

In Girls Volleyball brackets, the Titans are seeded 2nd and slated to play 7th seed Leominster today. In Field Hockey, the Titans are 6th seed and up against 3rd seed Nashoba on Wednesday.

Stay tuned for an update on CMADA outcomes and semi-final pairings later this week.
