Prepare to “Stomp ‘N Holler” next Wednesday

The July 12th outdoor concert features the "Best Country Act" of the 2023 Worcester Music Awards.

The next act to hit the stage for the Southborough Summer Concert Series is Stomp ‘N Holler. The group promotes:

Get ready for some Foot Stompin’, Butt shakin’, Head Knockin’, Hip Swayin’, Toe Tappin’ Country & Country Rock with Stomp N’ Holler’… Feel-Good Music for the Masses!

Formed in 2015 as a Country/Americana cover band, they began writing and releasing their own songs. This year the band was awarded was received “Best Country Act” in the Worcester Music Awards put on by Pulse Magazine.

Expect them to perform “great original Country & Rock” along with covers of popular country hits and “classic rock favs with a country flair”. Artists they cover include Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Eddie Rabbit, Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band, Chris Stapleton, Johnny Cash, George Jones, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Trisha Yearwood, Shania Twain, and The Mavericks, the Doobie Brothers, The Eagles, Neil Young, Tom Petty and Linda Ronstadt.

The concert will take place Wednesday July 12th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on the outdoor stage and field at Neary School, 53 Parkerville Road.

Concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs and enjoy a picnic. Bring your own dinner or purchase one from that night’s food truck. (Stay tuned for word as to who the vendor will be.)*

The series is sponsored by The Southborough Community Fund, Friends of Southborough Recreation, and Southborough Cultural Arts Council (funded through the Mass Cultural Council).

*Recreation tells me that the food truck scheduled for last night and next week (plus a few more dates) broke an axel. The dept is working on scheduling a new vendor.
