Theracopia Therapeutic Wellness Center is celebrating their 20th year in business, marking two decades of devoted commitment to health and well-being.

Theracopia's Celebration Dinner (photo from Facebook)To kick-off the year-long celebration, Theracopia hosted a dinner on Saturday, January 20th at Kennedy’s Restaurant in Marlborough. Invitees included twenty of their active founding clients from 2005 and 2006. It was an evening filled with reminiscences, laughter, and gratitude for the clients who have been an integral part of Theacopia’s success over the years.

YEAR OF GIVING

As part of the anniversary celebration, Theracopia has launched a “Year of Giving.” Each month, for the next year, the center will spotlight a regional non-profit organization and arrange a donation drive to support the benefactors initiatives. Theracopia will also donate 20% of the massage service revenue on the 20th day of that month. The “Year of Giving” is a testament to Theracopia’s belief in the power of collaboration and its commitment to making a positive impact beyond the massage table.

The current benefactor is Project Smile located in Hopedale, Ma. The donation wish list for Project Smile can be found on Theracopia’s website events page and Facebook page through February 20th. When you drop off your donations at Theracopia, you will be entered into a raffle to win a free 60-minute massage.

MORE THAN A MASSAGE THERAPY CENTER

TeamCopia (contributed photo)Established in 2005, after experiencing a layoff as a web developer, Founder Kelli Wentzell fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a massage therapist by enrolling at Spa Tech Institute. However, upon graduation, dissatisfaction with compensation and structure led Kelli to make the decision to open her own center in 2005. The founding principles revolved around the idea that well-being is a symmetry of physical, mental, and emotional health.

During an interview in 2018, when questioned about the meaning behind the name Theracopia, Kelli explained, “I wanted a name which sounded not only therapeutic yet abundant while at the same time, giving thanks to our clients – I believe I nailed it!”

Central to the success of Theracopia is its outstanding team of massage therapists who deliver a diverse range of personalized therapeutic services tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Their unwavering dedication to ongoing education and latest wellness trends ensures that clients consistently receive highly effective treatments.

LOOKING AHEAD

When asked about the future of Theracopia, Kelli emphasized the center’s unique approach, stating, “We will continue to set ourselves apart from the ordinary, priding ourselves in guiding our clients towards the journey of self-care. ‘We’ll lend our hands to ease what ails you’ – isn’t just a slogan; it embodies our commitment to the well-being of our clients and surrounding community .” Kelli continues, “I am profoundly grateful to my incredible team of massage therapists and each and every client that has walked through our doors.”

The center will continue to deliver a wide range of massage therapy treatments, yoga, special events, and additional offerings.
