  • NEF Trivia Night (7:00 pm) @ Cyprian Keyes Golf Club, Boylston: Northborough Education Foundation’s annual fundraiser is a Team Trivia Night. Funds raised are used to support programs in Northborough schools, including Algonquin Regional High School . For details, see dedicated post.

  • Read to a Dog (11:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Children’s Room: Register for kids ages 5+ to get a chance to read to a therapy dog. For details, see related post.
  • Electronic, Appliance, and Bicycle Recycle Day Placeholder (9:00 am – 2:00 pm) @ St. Anne’s Church, 20 Boston Rd: A portion of the event proceeds will be paid to St. Anne’s Church.. For details, see dedicated post.
  • No tickets still available — Family Walk and Learn: Using A Map & Compass (11:00 am – 12:30 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: This previously promoted event is either full or cancelled.
  • The Addams Family Kids (2:00 pm) @ Trottier Middle School auditorium, 49 Parkerville Rd: Neary’s annual school play is produced through Recreation’s after school theater program with Skyrise Theater. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Paint a Bunny Picture (3:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Registration is required for this program for 8-12 year olds. Kids will be led throughstep by step instructions. All materials provided. Sponsored by Friends of the Southborough Library. 
  • The Addams Family Kids (5:00 pm) @ Trottier Middle School auditorium, 49 Parkerville Rd: Second (and final) performance of Neary’s annual school play produced through Recreation’s after school theater program with Skyrise Theater. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Southborough Safe Spaces – Becoming Resilient (7:00 – 9:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Church, 27 Main Street: Youth event for grades 6-12 hosted by Southborough Safe Spaces for LBGTQ+ youth of all faiths and their allies. This session they will discuss “Becoming Resilient: Friendships, Dating & Family.) For details, see their Instagram post.
  • Spring Fever (8:00 pm) @ Vokes Theater, Wayland: The night of stories and music includes Southborough’s Catherine Weber. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Boy Scout’s Pancake Breakfast (8:00 am – 1:00 pm) @ Neary School cafeteria, 53 Parkerville Rd: roop 1 Boy Scouts’ 55th annual fundraiser. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.
  • Knitting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Bi-monthly social knitting group. Beginners are welcome and supplies will be provided, though you can also bring your own and “any creation you are working on”. For details, see related post.

  • Reading Roundtable (11:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: A new monthly Book Club for adult book lovers to delve into literary analysis. For details, see related post.
  • Bridge (12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group, welcoming new participants. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
  • Second & Third Grade Book Group (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Room: Monthly Book Club with discussion and activities. For details, see related post.
  • Virtual Book Club (7:30 – 8:30 pm) @ zoom: Southborough Library hosted book group. Participants can chat about what they’re reading or listening to with library staff and other patrons. Meet once a month to informally exchange ideas. To sign up, contact rdonovan@cwmars.org.
  • Select Board Office Hours (6:00 – 7:00 pm) @ Town House Hearing Room, 17 Common St: Residents are invited to drop in to informally speak with two Board members about any questions, concerns or interests. This session will be hosted by members Andrew Dennington and Kathy Cook.
  • Poetry Workshop (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main level: Bring in five copies of original poetry to share. The group will provide supportive feedback. If you don’t have a poem, come anyway and share your insights. (Meets twice monthly.)
  • Geeks Who Drink Trivia Night (8:00 – 10:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: Weekly Trivia game night with prizes. For details, see dedicated post.

  • NSBORO School “Wellness Day”: School is in session for Northborough-Southborough public schools – but no homework, tests, or quizzes can be assigned due to Eid al-Fitr.
  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Southborough cemetery, 11 Cordaville Road: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Elder Law Advice (10:00 – 10:45 am) @ phone or zoom: Southborough seniors can sign up for a free 15 minute session of individualized legal advice from an Elder Law attorney. For details, see the Senior Center’s newsletter, p. 9.
  • Manga & Anime Club (4:30 – 5:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: Monthly discussion club for fans ages 12+. For details, see related post.
  • Read to a Dog (6:30 – 7:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, Children’s Room: Children preferably ages 5 and up with some reading ability will read to Perla, a certified therapy dog. Each child participating will have a chance to read a short book to Perla. Please register in the Children’s Room (or you can email kivers@southboroughma.com /call 508-485-5031).

  • Sit & Knit (2:00 – 4:00pm) @ Southborough Library: Biweekly program for ages 18+ to drop in and work on your latest knitting or crochet projects while you enjoy the company of fellow yarn crafters in a relaxed social setting. All levels are welcome but no formal instruction will be given.
