- Community Yard Sale (8:00 am) @ Red Gate Lane & Hickory Road: The neighborhood has organized yard sales on their streets for this morning.
- 3D Collage Box (11:30 am – 1:30 pm) @ Southborough Library: This art program for ages 12+ requires pre-registration and space is limited. Participants will use collage art to craft a colorful box they can use to store mementos. For details, see dedicated post.
- Sit & Knit (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Semi-monthly program for ages 18+ to drop in and work on your latest knitting or crochet projects while you enjoy the company of fellow yarn crafters in a relaxed social setting. All levels are welcome but no formal instruction will be given.
- Live Music with 3 of a Kind (8:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: The band will perform classic rock. For details, click here.

- Family Yoga in the Park (12:00 – 1:00pm) @ in front of Neary School’s outdoor stage, 53 Parkerville Rd: (Rescheduled from original date on May 3rd.) Note: Registration is listed as required and no longer available. This free outdoor yoga session is for all ages and skill levels. - NSPAC Playground Meetup (3:00 pm) @ 21 Highland St:A free social event for families with students on IEPs or 504 Plans. Siblings welcome. (Rescheduled from Saturday, due to the forecast.) For details, see related post.
- Heritage Chorale Concert (4:00 pm) @ Fuller Middle School, 31 Flagg Dr, Framingham: The by-audition regional chorus’ spring concert is themed “America at 250 – Of Thee We Sing”. The concert pays tribute to iconic symbols of America and features works that span more than 200 years of American music. For details, click here.
- St. Mark’s Messy Church (4:00 – 6:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 27 Main St: A worship experience for busy families of younger kids. Includes a Bible story theme with activities, crafts, and a shared meal. For details, see related post.

- Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. (Dependent on weather conditions.) Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
- Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: (Final week until the next school year.) Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme (and sometimes a couple of songs). No registration required.
- Knitting Club & Quilting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Weekly opportunity for senior crafters to work on their projects in a social setting, including knitting, sewing, cross stitching, needle point.
- ARHS College Essay Brainstorming Session (6:00 – 7:00pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School library: The Algonquin Writing Center is hosting this event for ARHS juniors (with free pizza.) - Cook Book Club (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: This month, select recipes from _____ to make share at the gathering. New participants are encouraged. For details, see related post.
- Poetry Workshop (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main level: Bring in five copies of original poetry to share. The group will provide supportive feedback. If you don’t have a poem, come anyway and share your insights. (Meets twice monthly.)

- American Mah Jongg Meetup (1:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Main Floor Stacks: Weekly opportunity to play. Drop ins are welcome, but groups of 4 are generally necessary. For details, click here.
- Nature Story Time (1:30 – 2:15 pm) @ Southborough Library, Children’s Room: This free program for 2-5 year olds requires pre-registration. The monthly story and craft series is put on by the Dept of Conservation & Recreation. This month’s focus is “Sprouts & Splashes”. For details, see related post.
- TrailBlazers meeting (3:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: The group for active seniors holds a monthly meeting to plan upcoming activities. Any seniors interested in helping or learning more are welcome to join them. For more details, see related post.
- Food Truck Festival (3:30 – 7:00pm) @ St. Mark’s meadow (corner of Rte 85 and Rte 30): Part of the annual series organized by the Southborough Rotary Club featuring trucks selling dinner and ice cream. The event takes place on Wednesday evenings over four weeks. For details, see dedicated post.
- Meditations for the Nations (4:30 – 5:00 pm) @ St. Mark’s Church Parish Hall, 27 Main St: The church invites community members troubled by “division, unrest, and fear in our country” to share concerns with others and take part in guided and silent meditation. - ARHS POPS Night (7:00 – 9:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School, gym: Annual musical celebration featuring all of Algonquin’s vocal and instrumental groups. Tickets are $10 each. For details, see dedicated post.
- Annual Friends of the Library Meeting (7:30 – 8:45 pm) @ Southborough Library: Annual member meeting to elect the board and review the past and upcoming year. - ARHS Graduation (10:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School: The ceremony celebrating the Class of 2026 will be on the field if weather permits or in the gym if it doesn’t.
- Summer Book Sale (10:00 am – 3:00 pm) @ Southborough Library parking lot: The Friends of the Southborough Library will hold its annual book summer book sale (and a bake sale). One free book per child
- AVRTHS Graduation (11:00 am – 1:30 pm) @ DCU Center, 50 Foster St, Worcester: Celebration of Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School’s Class of 2026. Seniors MUST arrive at school at 7:00 am. (They will be transported to DCU by bus.) DCU Doors open to guests at 10:00 a.m.
- Gallery Hang Opening Reception (5:00 – 7:00 pm) @ 57 Andrew Dr, Wayland: This is the opening reception for “five contemporary galleries in one shared space” including a Southborough artist’s exhibit. For details, see dedicated post.
