Sign tweens/teens up for D&D “One-Shot” and/or a DIY D&D themed craft this week

The Southborough Library is holding two events this week that should interest teen/tween Dungeons & Dragons enthusiasts. (One may also appeal to crafters who don’t play the game.)

Both free events require pre-registration.

The first event is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.

D&D one shot flyerDungeons & Dragons game play
Thursday, June 26th, 3:00 – 6:00 pm

This event is for ages 10 and older

Dungeon Master Jeff will return to the library to lead a “one-shot campaign exploring a library”. All levels of players are welcome.

As of my writing this post, four registration slots were left. Click here to sign up.

For kids who have never played, the “one-shot” game is a good intro to table top fantasy game world. Players each take on roles and are led through an adventure comprised of a combination of choices, and chance based on roles of special dice.

Speaking of the dice, some of the same kids interested in Thursday’s event may want to sign up for the crafting event this Saturday.

DIY D&D Dice Box craft flyerDIY Dungeons & Dragons Dice Box
Saturday, June 28th, 2:00 – 3:30 pm

This event is for ages 12-18

This crafting event is to create a dice box with a dragon eye decoration. The library promotes, “the box is perfect for holding dice, but can have other purposes!”

As of my writing this post, nine registration slots were left. Click here to sign up.

Both events will be held in the Eaton Meeting Room.
