Pumpernickel Puppets at the Library on Tuesday

The Southborough Library is bringing back the Pumpernickel Puppets to put on a show at the library next week. This time, he’ll entertain kids with “The Three Billy Goats Gruff” and “The Lion and the Mouse”. .

The event is open to all ages, but the puppeteer gears his shows towards kids ages 3 and up.

Pumpernickel Puppets flyerPuppeteer John McDonough entertained at the library the past two summers, but It’s been 10 years since he performed his version of these children’s stories in Southborough.

McDonough has previously promoted that his shows:

are presented with a cast of colorful puppet characters, audience participation, live voices and sound effects and fast paced scripts that not only entertain, but stimulate children’s imagination and creativity. A demonstration period follows every performance giving the audience some insight into what happens behind the scenes.

The show will take place on Tuesday, July 22nd at 11:00 am on the main, upper floor. The entertainment is sponsored by The Friends of the Southborough Library.
