Last fall, Algonquin Girls Volleyball team is promoting a skills clinic this summer for girls entering grades 6-9.
The varsity players, supervised by coaches, will run a three day clinic in August in the Algonquin Regional gym.
No details are provided, but in prior years, organizers described the clinic as:
designed to introduce girls of all skill levels, to the competitive game of volleyball. Through this clinic athletes will learn skills, positions, strategy, and teamwork all while having fun and working closely with the Algonquin Volleyball team
Previously, participants were encouraged to wear “a court type sneaker” and athletic wear with optional knee pads.
The schedule is Tuesday, August 12th to Thursday, August 14th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The fee is $75 per player. Payments are made to the ARHS Boosters to benefit the team.
