Margaret A. Driscoll, recently of Norwood, formerly of Newton and Southborough, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, at the age of 86, with family by her side. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Agnes Driscoll of Newton, and her sister Patricia Casavant.
She was the loving aunt of Anne Casavant and her partner Allen Moulton of Lexington, Arthur Casavant and his wife Margaret Kirby of Norwalk, CT, David Casavant and his wife Maryann of Westwood, and Michelle Bernard and her husband Timothy of Pocasset; grand-aunt of 11 nieces and nephews; and great-aunt of 5 nieces.
Margaret graduated from St. Bernard’s High School in Newton and attended Lesley College. She was happiest when engaged in her favorite hobbies of traveling, oil painting, and gathering with family. She will be remembered for her exceptional kindness, generosity, and quick wit.
Relatives and friends [were]* invited to attend a Visitation in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Friday, June 19th from 9-10:30am. Following the Visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial [was scheduled to]* be celebrated at 11am in St. Denis Church, 157 Washington St., Westwood. Interment at Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
