Becker College to host free bullying workshop in Southborough

Becker College will offer a free workshop on bullying with child development author Jane Katch on Tuesday, September 28. The workshop will be held at Becker’s Southborough Center on Route 9. Here are more details.

Lessons on Bullying and Teasing from the Classroom

The Becker College Center for Accelreated & Professional Studies is pleased to welcome Jane Katch to our Southborough Center, where she will be holding a workshop on the topic of Bully.

During the workshop, Jane will address:

  • Practical tips for preventing teasing, bullying and exclusion
  • Ways to encourage constructive means of handling conflict and aggression
  • Current literature highlighting gender differences of aggressive behavior in children

Jane is the author of two books on the topic of childhood aggression:
They Don’t Like Me: Lessons on Bullying and Teasing from a Preschool Classroom and Under Deadman’s Skin: Discovering the Meaning of Children’s Violent Play.

She will also be available for book signing immediately following the workshop.
