Library downstairs flooded again
The downstairs of the Southborough Library is closed due to another flood. At this point the main/upper level of the library is open. And patrons can still access it through the downstairs parking lot entrance and even use the elevator. Read the full article → from Library downstairs flooded again

Bus Update: Transportation nightmares, a school apology, and next steps
This morning, was a rocky start to the school year for many students waiting endlessly for a bus. This afternoon was apparently even worse. Some students were shifted to other buses. With buses somehow over capacity, kids were sitting on buses that couldn’t leave the school. Parents were complaining about kids apparently stranded and/or missing with late/insufficient communications. The Public Safety Building Committee asked me to help get the word out about dos and don’ts for egress to the facility, the golf course behind it, and the school next to it. Earlier today, Superintendent Greg Martineau promised parents that he would be posting updated bus routes by 2:00 pm today. It appears that they kept that promise. But if your device is like mine, you might have been angered by the impression that flagrant errors hadn’t been fixed.
