Local scouts will canvass Southborough neighborhoods on Saturday to distribute plastic bags as part of the Scouting For Food drive. Your job is to fill the bags with items from your pantry and then leave them next to your mailbox next Saturday, November 9 for pick up. All donations go to area food banks. This just in from the Metrowest Daily News. The contract of Algonquin Principal Ned Gallagher was not renewed for the 2009-2010 school year. That means Algonquin will have a new principal next year. The hunt is on for a replacement, and Superintendent Charles Gobron says he hopes to have the search wrapped up by December.
