April is poetry month at the Southborough Library
The Month of April will be filled with literary learning and fun for all ages at the Southborough Library, 25 Main Street, Southborough. Plans are underway for a month-long Poetry Festival to celebrate this classic form of expression. Partial funding for this project comes from a grant by the Southborough Local Arts Council. On Saturday night lights will be set up around the outdoor Community Skating Rink in Fayville for a special evening of night skating. The event is being sponsored by Southborough’s public safety agencies – the Fire and Police Departments, Emergency Management Agency and Citizen Emergency Response Team and Medical Reserve Corp (CERT/MRC) – in appreciation for the continuing support of the community.
