A couple hundred runners and walkers pounded the pavement in Southborough on Sunday to help raise more than $8K for victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. The 5K race, which started and ended at Trottier Middle School, was organized by Southborough-owned FitStudio 28, with help from the Southborough Recreation Department and other local businesses. On an unseasonably cool day under bright blue sky, a crowd of Southborough residents turned out to honor the town’s veterans and remember those lost in battle.
