Today is the last day to register to vote before town meeting
If you’re planning on going to town meeting this year and you’re not registered to vote, today is the last day to do so. You must be a registered voter to attend town meeting, which starts on April 8. It’s also the last day to register to vote before the town election on May 10. Regional school committee talks Algonquin debt assessment, but no decisions made
At the Regional School Committee meting last week, committee members discussed how to resolve the disagreement between Northborough and Southborough over the Algonquin debt assessment. Damage has been reported by homeowners in the Pine Hill Road, Clemmons Street, Joslin Lane, Witherbee Lane, and Angelica Lane neighborhoods. Southborough moms Sally Fodor, Nancy Barton, Marie Lescalleet, Sally Murphy, Ellen Factor and Sue Butka will participate in the 2-day, 39-mile Avon Walk for Breast Cancer on May 15 and 16.
