Employment data for January was released last week, and the numbers showed a significant increase for Southborough. Our unemployment rate in January was 7.8%, compared to 6.5% in December. Advisory Committee: Town budget would call for 2.9% tax increase but no override
The Advisory Committee is one of two groups that recommend a budget for town meeting voters to consider (the other is the Board of Selectmen).
