The Algonquin girls soccer team captured their first-ever state championship yesterday, beating out nationally-ranked Acton-Boxborough by a score of 1-0. The Algonquin boys soccer team lost to Ludlow in the state semifinal match yesterday by a score of 2-1. After capturing the division title on Monday, they finish the season with a record of 18-2-2. Three cheers for the Northborough-Southborough T-Hawks Cheerleaders. The Pop Warner Midget team won their division at the Regional Cheer Qualifiers in Springfield on November 8.
