Small fire on Wildwood Drive fills basement with smoke

Mass Pike road work means ramp and lane closures this week

Driving downtown this evening I found Main St. in front of Mauro’s Market blocked by patrol cars. No traffic was being let through. Yesterday I posted about options for a new police station. At their meeting on Monday, the Board of Selectmen came out in favor of a single-story plan. Town Planner Vera Kolias sent me preliminary floor plans for the proposed 1-story building. She stressed that they’re just conceptual, and there’s still much work left to do. Southborough man tied to drug operation
A Southborough man was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges he was part of a drug operation outside of Atlanta. The 29-year-old is alleged to have collaborated with street gang members to sell cocaine out of a business he was affiliated with.
