Last month members of the Algonquin girls soccer team were awarded plaques to commemorate their 2009 state championship win. And last week, they were honored by Southborough and Northborough’s state representatives at the state house. Algonquin girls win the state championship

The Algonquin girls soccer team captured their first-ever state championship yesterday, beating out nationally-ranked Acton-Boxborough by a score of 1-0. Mixed results for Algonquin soccer teams

The Algonquin boys soccer team lost to Ludlow in the state semifinal match yesterday by a score of 2-1.  After capturing the division title on Monday, they finish the season with a record of 18-2-2. The Algonquin Boosters Club will host a Ladies’ Night Out fundraiser on Thursday, November 19, featuring hors d’oeuvres, a martini bar, mini-spa treatments, holiday shopping and more.
