Town Meeting Wrap up: CPA Articles pass, Golf Course CR secure, zoning code change fails
At the second night of Town Meeting, preservation Articles passed with flying colors, along with a measure to speed up future meetings. A proposed change to the zoning code on the Site Plan appeal process got tangled up in arguments and failed to pass the threshold. Last night, Town Meeting voters approved spending over $55M and borrowing more than $800K. They overwhelmingly supported the Town’s requests for budgets and replenishing needed funds. And they supported most of the projects that came in front of them. Two failed, and more are up for votes tonight. BOS on Thursday: Golf Course name change, Washington Street/Coslin Way, and updated Budget
Yesterday, the board posted an agenda for a meeting tomorrow night – Thursday, February 22nd. On the agenda are a hearing on accepting Washington St and Coslin Way, and updates on the FY19 Budget and Town Warrant.
