Southborough Recreation confirmed the new date for last night’s outdoor concert they were forced to postpone. Carolyn Rae & the Rumors has been rebooked to play on Wednesday, August 12th.
So far, most of the other details remain the same as I’ve previously posted.
As always, the performance will take place 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Neary School’s field, 53 Parkerville Road. Concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs.
Thanks to the concert’s sponsorship by Friends of Southborough Recreation, attendees can again enjoy free ice cream scooped out from the Trombetta’s truck. (FOSR covered about 350 ice creams at the last concert!)
Rec also hopes that the food truck they originally booked to sell dinner can show up on the new date. But stay tuned for confirmation on that. (The truck Atrévete a Probar was lined up for July 30th. The vendor appears to focus on Puerto Rican specialties (like tripleta, loaded fries, loaded tostones, and sometimes mofongo).
