Holding a garage, yard, or other sort of sale this weekend? This is your post! Below is a list of sales readers have emailed me about this week. To advertise a sale you’re having this weekend, just add a comment below. If you want to let me know about a future garage/yard sale, send me the details at

Fabric Sale – 84 Turnpike Rd (Rte 9 next to Walgreens)

9:30 am – 3:00 pm (No early birds)
Upholstery extravaganza. Southborough uphulstery company in business for 40 years is selling upholstery and drapery fabric at fantastic prices. Selling by the yard and estimates can be given for yardages for furniture reupholstering. All fabrics are new and are the best quality. Faux leathers as well. Small, medium, and large lots available. No credit cards accepted. Cash or check only.

I also saw signs around town for a yard sale on Sadie Hutt, but I don’t have the details. If anyone does, feel free to add them to the comments below.

If you have items you’re trying to sell or give away – cars, furniture, and the like – you’re also welcome to use the comments of this post to share the details even if you’re not holding a garage or yard sale. Think of it as our own little version of Craigslist.

4 Caterer Needed September 10, 2012 at 11:56 AM

Does anyone have any suggestions for a reasonably-priced caterer in the area? We are hosting a family event for approximately 50 people at our home. We are cost conscious and therefore would prefer bbq-style as opposed to shrimp/fancy-stuff. We’d like the food delivered, set-up, and a staff of 1-2 to remain on hand to serve and clean-up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Firefly in Marlborough does catering and might be just what you are looking for.

TJ’s in Ashland has done a few catering events for us from family style buffet, appetizers for a cocktail party, to even a roast beef carving station with veggies and salad for a dinner party. Very reasonable prices- very accommodating and with great suggestiongs. They set up and had staff of 1-2 stay.
