I always refer to Algonquin as our public high school. But we do have another public school that some high schoolers in town attend, Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School.

If you’re interested in supporting the school’s football team – or just looking for an excuse to hit the green – head out to Juniper Hills on Monday.

Golf Tournament to Benefit Friends of Assabet Valley Football

The Friends of Assabet Valley Football will be holding their 1st Annual Golf Tournament at Juniper Hills Golf Course in Northborough, MA, on Monday, June 29th. Participants do not need to be affiliated with the football team in order to play golf, have some fun, and support Assabet’s student-athletes.

This is a 9:00 AM Shotgun start. The cost is $125.00 per golfer which includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, a BBQ Buffet meal, prizes, raffles, and entertainment provided by comedian Brad Mastrangelo.

Details for mail- in registrations and to pay via PayPal should visit the Friends of Assabet Valley Football at www.assabetvalleyfootball.com. Once on the site, it is easy to click on the “Team Events tab” to quickly register for the golf tournament.
