Epicurean Room: Assabet Culinary serving up breakfast and lunch again this fall

The Epicurean Room is Assabet’s full-service, student-run kitchen and bake shop. Yesterday marked their opening to the public this school year. (Wicked Local captured some great shots of students in action and mouth watering dishes. You can look at those here.)

(Though, I’m sure it’s closed on holidays and school vacation weeks. There may be other exceptions and they can fill up, so the school recommends calling ahead for reservations.)

Here’s their announcement with details on this year’s breakfast and lunch schedule:

Culinary Arts students and instructors at Assabet (contributed in 2017)The Epicurean Restaurant is a student-run operation that has the ability to service 110 customers through a fully operational kitchen and bakeshop. The regular schedule will be Wednesdays through Fridays, open from 10:50 am – 12:50 pm, with the First Wednesday of each month featuring a breakfast buffet, every Thursday a scrumptious lunch buffet, and the other Wednesdays of the month, as well as Fridays, will feature an Ala Carte Menu.

It is always best to call in advance 508-263-9865 or 508-485-9430 ext. 1119, to be sure we are serving, or visit Assabet’s website at www.assabet.org. We look forward to greeting our returning customers, and hope to see some new faces as well! Please remember to call ahead for a reservation, as there are times that we fill up.
