Mental Health Month: SYFS spreading messages of hope and resilience, self care and more

May is Mental Health Month. As usual, Southborough Youth and Family Services is using it to raise public awareness and reach out to those who need help.

On social media this month, SYFS has been posting images with inspirational messages. They introduced the series with a tweet explaining:

This year we’ll be focusing on spreading messages of hope and resilience, sharing mindfulness and self-care strategies, and encouraging the community to stay connected during this difficult time.

The agency has also encouraged the public to make use of social media to share positive messages, with weekly themes. Last week, followers on on twitter and Facebook were encouraged to share pictures and posts highlighting what they were most grateful for.

This weeks theme is self care. Followers are encouraged to post about their favorite forms of self-care using #selfcarematters #SYFSselfcare.
