The annual forum to get to know the candidates running for contested positions is a week from tonight. It allows residents to essentially take part in the job interview for seats on one of the most powerful boards in the executive branch of our Town government.
Three candidates are vying for two seats on the Select Board.

This Wednesday afternoon, in the middle of the public schools’ spring break, the Southborough Library is hosting a free, hands on program for 4th–6th graders.

The Southborough Library is bringing back Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens for another gardening workshop a week from Saturday. This time the focus is on “how to garden sustainably”.

The Southborough Library is promoting the next session of a series for “readers in training”. The program partner kids with teen “Buddies” for six weeks, to encourage reading. Two of the upcoming workshops are special “TLT” (Teen Library Team) events that ask 6–8th graders to lend a hand in supporting the environment.
