August 19, 2009 07:01:23 AM

It wasn’t quite the production it was the first time around, but the movie was back in town yesterday. Word is they needed more footage of extras walking into Pilgrim Church. No road closures, no crowds, no stars. Just a quiet day on the set.
In other ‘Grown Ups’ news, the cast spent some time filming

The Hollywood lights are but a distant memory, but one thing remains: the money.

June 25, 2009 04:55:15 PM

Here’s a photo of the shoot from Gloucester resident and fellow

The movie may be gone, but you can still keep tabs on the filming thanks to David Spade. Spade offers occasional Twitter updates like this one from today:

A few more star shots

May 27, 2009 09:37:18 AM

Since the movie shoot has been extended a bit, I decided to stop by yesterday to see what I could see. The crew was filming on the side of the church, so spectators gathered behind the library in back of the old burial ground.

It was a cool day, and Adam Sandler trolled about carrying a

That’s a question that has been posed by commenters in the last week. With hundreds of crew members, extras, and fans in town, the potential is certainly there. But is the payoff being realized?
The Metrowest Daily News dug into the question a bit and found that for some town business like English Garden Florist, Falconi
