Unemployment across both the state and the nation increased in December, but things held steady in Southborough.
Our unemployment rate was 6.5% in December, the same as it was in November. Statewide the unemployment rate was 9.1%, up from 8.3% in November. The national rate increased to 9.7% in December from 9.4% the previous month.
