Independent candidates to hold event next Tuesday

Two candidates running as Independents in November’s state election will hold a joint meet-and-greet at Owen O’Leary’s on Tuesday, August 24. Here are some details from the Metrowest Daily News:

Jonathan Loya, an independent candidate running for the Eighth Middlesex state representative against Democrat incumbent Carolyn Dykema, is joining up with fellow independent candidate Keith Nicholas. Nicholas is running for Worcester County Sheriff, a position currently held by Guy Glodis, who is making a bid for State Auditor.

The pair want to talk with the public about issues and about their campaigns. The event will run from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
