The unemployment rate in Southborough ticked down a bit to 6.0% in October compared to 6.4% in September. It’s the lowest rate we’ve seen since May 2009.
Statewide the unemployment rate also dropped from 8.0% in September to 7.7% in October. Nationally the rate fell from 9.2% to 9.0% during the same time period.
