A few months ago the Framingham Police Department launched a Facebook page in an effort to keep the community in the loop about what’s happening in their department. That got me thinking. What organizations in Southborough would you like to see on Facebook?
A number of town businesses and some organizations like the Arts Center, Southboro Baseball, and the Southborough Open Land Foundation are already on Facebook. But what about town departments like police and fire or the Recreation Department? How about the schools? Would Facebook be a good way to stay connected with what’s happening in town?

I would love to see a facebook page for the Southborough Historical Sociaty. There is so much to learn about our community. There are literally thousands of pictures that could be shown over the months. Would love to see updates on their public meetings as well.
