Obit: Paul Parks Morin – September 6, 2011

Paul P. Morin, 79, of Southborough, died on September 6, 2011 at Kathleen Daniels Healthcare Center after a battle with cancer.

Born in Haverhill, NH, he was the son of the late Roscoe and Beulah (Ricker) Morin

Paul was a 1949 graduate of Malden High School and a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology of Boston. He was an Army veteran serving from 1952 to 1955. Paul was a design engineer working as a team leader and project manager for the architectural department at several Boston area firms, such as Metcalf & Eddy Engineers, CID Associates, and Linenthal Eisenberg & Anderson. He was also a licensed construction supervisor, a licensed home improvement contractor and held a private pilot license.

Paul was a Scout Master for 12 years and a district Commissioner for Algonquin Council, Boy Scouts of America. He was also a two time Exalted Rule of the Milford Elk’s Lodge 628 B.P.O.E., where he was a former member.

He is survived by his children, Lorraine Shafransky and her husband Dan of Toronto; Donald Morin and his wife Melissa of Templeton; Dean Morin of Southborough; a sister Diane Harris and her husband Harold of Monroe, NH; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by a daughter Cheryl Morin.

Funeral and burial will be private.
