Southborough Boy Scout Jon Willis and his troop will hold a car wash at the Transfer Station on Saturday to raise funds for his Eagle Scout project to restore trails a Templeman Woods, a parcel of open space located off Cordaville Road just north of the Mass Pike.

Willis told the Conservation Commission back in June that he wants to clean up the trails and replace rotting footbridges in an effort to make the area more accessible to the public. The parcel is owned and managed by the Southborough Open Land Foundation.

The car wash will take place from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Transfer Station. The rate is $5 or $10, depending on the size of the vehicle, and all proceeds will benefit Willis’ Eagle Scout project.
