Whit Beals headlines Sudbury Valley Trustees annual meeting

Sudbury Valley Trustees, which manages several open space parcels in Southborough, will hold its 58th Annual Meeting on Wednesday. The meeting will feature a talk by Southborough resident Whit Beals.

The meeting’s featured speaker is Whit Beals of Southborough, current Director of Land Protection at the New England Forestry Foundation, former SVT staff member, and farmer of Southborough’s Chestnut Hill Farm.

Whit’s extensive background in the protection of open space for recreation, forestry, and agriculture grant him a unique vision of the importance of a variety of habitats for the protection of wildlife. His evenings talk will be entitled “Visitors to the Land.”

The meeting takes place at Beatrice Vokes Theatre in Wayland. For more information, visit the SVT website (www.sudburyvalleytrustees.org).
