New players can sign up for the spring girls lacrosse season starting tomorrow. The Northborough-Southborough Girls Lacrosse (NSGL) league is open to girls in both towns in grades 3 through 8. New this year, the league is expanding to include players in first and second grades, as well.

The program for first and second graders includes four Sunday clinics to be held in April and May. The clinics are designed to introduce younger girls to the sport.

Registration for returning players opened last week. New players will be able to sign up starting Thursday, November 10 through November 23.

The league attempts to accommodate all girls who want to play, but says there are limits due to team size, availability of qualified coaches, and availability of field space provided by the towns. Sign up early to secure your spot.

You can register online at www.nsgl.org.
