A good crowd turned out last night at the Southborough Library to hear Tom Prince, owner of Tomasso Trattoria and Panzano Market, talk about the lessons he has learned since founding his businesses seven years ago. The talk was part of an ongoing speaker series sponsored by the Southborough Business Network’.

A Metrowest native, who before becoming a restaurateur spent 25 years in high tech sales, Prince shared tips ranging from marking a business in the era of social media and group coupon sites, to choosing a location, to keeping employees happy and engaged.

Prince’s talk was the second in the Southborough Business Network’s INSIDE STORY series. The group has more presentations in the works. If you want to be part of the planning, join them at their next meeting on December 1, at 7:00 pm at the Southborough Library.

For those of you who attended the talk, what did you think? Which of the lessons Prince shared resonated most with you? What local business folks would you like to hear from at upcoming presentations? Share your thoughts in the comments.
