Don’t forget, Santa arrives on Saturday

It’s time to make your list and check it twice because Santa Claus is coming to town on Saturday. He’ll arrive by helicopter (weather permitting) at noon at St. Mark’s field. Here are all the details.

Southborough Kindergroup will kick off the holiday season with their 34th annual “Santa Day.” As in previous years, the jolly old elf will land his helicopter on the front field at St. Mark’s School in Southborough (on the corner of Route 85 and Main Street) at noon on Saturday, December 3. Accompanied by his elves, Santa will head to the Southborough Community House from 12-3pm where children can have their picture taken with Santa, sit on his lap and share their Christmas wish lists.

The entrance fee to see Santa at the Community House event is $5 per child or $10 per family, photo included. While awaiting their turns, families will have the opportunity to participate in crafts, listen to holiday music, and enjoy refreshments. Musical entertainment will be provided by Carrie Rowan and her Merry Go Music Pals.

This annual event is organized by Southborough Kindergroup and sponsored by local businesses. Southborough Kindergroup is a cooperative play group for preschool children and their parents. For more information regarding membership, go to www.kindergroup.com.

Organizers also ask you to bring a non-perishable food item for the Southborough Food Pantry to help those in need this season.
