Enjoy some holiday merriment next week – including an audience with Santa himself – and help out a good cause while you do it. Here are the details.
Hammond Residential Real Estate of Southborough is pleased to announce that the Hammond Residential Conference Center located at 3 East Main Street, next door to the English Garden Florist, will be a drop off location for Toys for Tots.
On Monday, December 17th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, the community is invited to drop off an unwrapped toy donation, enjoy festive refreshments and an opportunity to have a picture taken with Santa and his Caroling Elves. Hammond’s Framingham office has been a Toys for Tots donation center for five years and Manager Kathy Helliwell is delighted to expand the opportunity to collect donations into Hammond’s Southborough location.
“Each year, we try to increase the number of gifts we collect for children who otherwise would not have the occasion to open a present during the holidays”, explains Helliwell. “We hope to make this year our most successful year ever”.
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
