Southborough Library Genealogy Club to learn about using military records to find family histories – Thursday

The Southborough Library’s Genealogy Club will gather on Thursday to hear a presentation about searching military records for your family history and an effort to connect families with lost servicemen and women. Here are the details:

There is an organized effort to connect military families with the missing servicemen and women of past conflicts. Learn about how genealogists help the search from Ms. Polly Fitzgerald Kimmit, of Shrewsbury.

Polly is a certified genealogist, and a member of the Mayflower Society, Daughters of the American Revolution and other lineage societies. Read her blog (pk-pollyblog.blogspot.com) before Thursday night’s meeting. Southborough Library Gen Club meetings are appropriate for all ages and all skill levels. No sign up required.
