New library group will encourage inspired writers

Has the Southborough Library’s New England Author Series inspired the writer in you?

Presenters and panelists have shared tips on how to get started writing, their insights on the process, and even advice on getting published.

If you missed those sessions, you still have a chance to ask questions of authors at continuing events:

  • Suspense novelist Hank Phillippi Ryan will be at the library tonight at 7:00 pm.
  • Author Craig Miller will discuss his memoir, Surviving Suicide and Finding Life, on Thursday, November 14 at 7:00 pm.

So what’s next? Putting pen to paper? (Or fingers to keyboard?)

If you are looking for people to help inspire you and keep you motivated, you are in luck.

The Southborough Library is founding a new Writers Group. The group will work to coach writers and help them come up with a plan.

The first meeting will be on Saturday, November 16, at 2:00 pm. It will be coordinated by resident, Lorraine Gilmore.

Subsequent meetings will be held monthly.
