Obituary: Laura (Milone) Kenrick, 92

Laura (Milone) Kenrick, 92, of Southborough, died on Thursday, November, 26, 2013, peacefully at her home after a period of declining health.

She was the wife of the late William P. Kenrick who passed away in 1999. Born in Milwaukee, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Antionette (Allioto) Milone.

Laura graduated from high school in Milwaukee and married a sailor, named William from the Lake Michigan Training Grounds, and moved to New England. She has lived in Southborough over forty years.

Laura entertained and celebrated with her sister-in-laws, Norma, Olive, Elizabeth, Francis, and Ellen Kenrick, formerly of Sherborn, throughout her life. She was a fabulous hostess, a gourmet cook, interior decorator, gardener and an avid reader. Laura worked in the accounting department at Klockner-Mueller in Natick until she retired at the age of 67. Laura was a member of the Marlboro Library Book Club, managed by her dear friend, Marian Grice and also belonged to the Southborough Senior Citizens Book Club.

She leaves her daughter, Nanette Anne Kenrick of Southborough; and her son Frank William Kenrick and his wife Jill of Uxbridge; a brother, Bartholomew Milone of Milwaukee. She is predeceased by her sister, Nina Storniolo.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Dec 2, from 11 to 11:45 AM at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough. Followed by a graveside service at 12,Noon, in the Southborough Rural Cemetery, 11 Cordaville Rd, Route 85.
