Doesn’t this bitter cold streak make you want to snuggle up with a good book?
Or did it make you book a plane ticket for some place warmer? If so, don’t forget to pack some books for poolside reading.
The Friends of the Southborough Library will be holding a Winter Book Sale on Saturday, February 1st from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Books include a wide selection of hardcover and paperback novels and non-fiction for adults. Young adult and children’s books are for sale with one free book offered per child.
They’ll also be selling lightweight canvas bags, cds, dvds, and kids’ reading/writing materials.
Proceeds are used by The Friends for items the library’s budget can’t cover, including museum/zoo passes, children’s programs, supplementing teen and adult events, and purchasing library equipment and furniture.
