Police logs (2/7/14-2/10/14)

Here are the latest logs from the Southborough Police Department.

Friday, 02/07, 2014:

  • 0517 hrs- Officers investigated a motor vehicle vs. deer accident on Boston Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident. The vehicle sustained heavy damage and the deer had to be put down by the responding officer.
  • 0603 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Newton Street residence.
  • 0901 hrs- Officers responded to a Mt. Vickery Road residence to investigate a complaint of harassing phone calls.
  • 0909 hrs- An officer responded with the Fire Department to investigate a fire alarm at a Cordaville Road business.
  • 1050 hrs- An officer took a report of a Hit & Run accident that had occurred on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported.
  • 1608 hrs- Officers assisted Ashland Police with a three car, motor vehicle accident on Oregon Road. The accident occurred in Ashland (at the town line), and injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 2218 hrs- A medical was reported at an Aspenwood Lane residence. 

Saturday, 02/08, 2014:

  • 0104 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 0138 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Presidential Drive. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 0243 hrs- An officer on patrol called in a suspicious person at a Turnpike Road business. The individual checked out ok.
  • 0437 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled truck on John Street.
  • 0608 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Parkerville Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 0810 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1022 hrs- Officers investigated a suspicious motor vehicle on Fisher Road.
  • 1037 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Pine Hill Road residence.
  • 1056 hrs- Officers assisted a General Henry Knox Road resident with a lock-out.
  • 1108 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Southwood Drive residence.
  • 1803 hrs- An officer assisted a Ted Lane resident with a possible Restraining Order violation.
  • 1811 hrs- Officers responded to Turnpike Road to investigate a report of an erratic driver in the area. The vehicle and operator were located, and both checked out ok.
  • 1820 hrs- Officers investigated a second complaint of an erratic operator on Turnpike Road. The responding officers reported back negative findings.
  • 2001 hrs- A medical was reported at a William Onthank Lane residence.

Sunday, 02/09, 2014:

  • 0743 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Main Street business.
  • 1313 hrs- A medical was reported at a Cordaville Road business.
  • 2208 hrs- Officers investigated a report of a female party walking down Boston Road. The female was located and checked out ok. She was provided with a civilian transport into Marlborough.
  • 2225 hrs- DPW was called out to treat the roadways.

Monday, 02/10, 2014:

  • 0137 hrs- A medical was reported at a Blackthorn Drive residence.
  • 0815 hrs- An officer responded to Turnpike Road to investigate a report of a suspicious person walking on Turnpike Road. The responding officer reported back a negative finding.
  • 0819 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 0827 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 0908 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Sears Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1012 hrs- An officer assisted a Willow Street business employee with obtaining a Harassment Prevention Order.
  • 1121 hrs- An officer assisted a Marlboro Road resident with a Harassment complaint.
  • 1410 hrs- A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1542 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a St. Martin Drive business.
  • 1644 hrs- An officer assisted a resident with a civil matter at the police station.
  • 1654 hrs- A Southborough man was arrested after he was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Marlborough District Court.
  • 1742 hrs- A Douglas man was charged with Speeding and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License (Subsequent Offense). Mr. Silva was also issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana.
  • 2129 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Wentworth Drive residence.

*ARRESTED*- A Southborough man was placed under arrest by New York State Police after Southborough Police issued a warrant for his arrest. The suspect is currently being held in New York on a fugitive from justice warrant. At this current time, he is being charged with the following: Two (2) counts of Rape of a Child (Aggravated by age); Two (2) counts of Indecent Assault & Battery on a child over 14; and One (1) count of Dissemination of Matter Harmful to Minors.
