Events this week (3/24/14-3/30/14): Tools for caregivers, science for kids, bingo, and festival

Monday, March 24, 2014:

  • Powerful Tools for Caregivers (11:30 am – 1:30 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: This is a free 6-week class for family caregivers hosted by BayPath Elder Services & Southborough Senior Center. Please call the senior center at (508) 229-4453 to register. (For more details, see past post.)

Wednesday, March 26, 2014:

  • State House Bus Tour (9:00 am – 3:00 pm) @: Bus leaves from and returns to the Senior Center. Suggested Donation is $15 for Friends of COA members and $25 for non-members. (For more details, see last week’s post.)

Thursday, March 27, 2014:

  • Hands on Nature (3:45 – 4:45 pm) @ Southborough Library: All About Beaks science program for children ages 5-8 years old. Children will learn about the different type of beaks birds have and explore how they are useful in various ways. Please register for this program in the Children’s Room or by calling the Library at (508) 485-5031. Sponsored by Fay School.
  • Trottier School Concert (7:00 pm) @ Trottier Middle School: Performances by the 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Concert, Stage Band, Big Band and Orchestra

Friday, March 28, 2014:

  • Bingo (12:30 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Come join Lena and Frank for an afternoon of Bingo, fun, prizes and of course Frank’s jokes. Bingo will start promptly at 12:30. The room will be open at noon if you would like to bring and enjoy your lunch before numbers are called.

Saturday, March 29, 2014:

  • 4th Annual Fay Festival (12:00 – 3:00 pm) @ Fay School’s Harlow Gym and Harris Theater.: A free day of carnival activities for 3-10 year olds. For details, see Friday’s post. Parking is available at 25 Middle Road. (For more details, see last week’s post.)
