Videos: Reservoir, birds, plants, pests, and jazz

Local media access has been busy lately. Too busy for me to keep up with. Everytime I turn around, there’s a new video to see.

Southborough Access Media has continued to increase the number of town committee meetings they cover. (Click here for those.)

But programming also covers more fun and informational topics. So here’s a roundup of some recent features filmed by SAM or Northborough Access Media.

(To fit these in, I made the windows small. But you can click on the full screen icon [ ] in bottom right corner to expand.)

The Quabbin Reservoir by Author Michael Tougias

Presentation at the Southborough Library (sponsored by The Friend of the Southborough Library and Southborough Open Land Foundation)

Birds of Massachusetts

Senior Center Breakfast Club presentation by Mass Wildlife

Southborough Gardeners

The annual plant sale in May. Includes explanation of their work and mission. Information was also shared by the Algonquin Environmental Club

Jazz Night with Jeff Galindo

The international trombonist worked with district middle schoolers to perform a jazz concert this March

Pest Talk: All About the Asian Longhorned Beetle and Emerald Ash Borer

This talk was at a government meeting. As such, it was posted on the government channel site instead of you tube. So, I can’t insert the video. But if you are interested in seeing it, click here.
