Obituary: Denman, Lois (Whidden), 91

Denman, Lois (Whidden), 91, of Southborough died on Sunday, July 13, 2014.

She was the beloved wife of the late James B. Denman; devoted mother of Margaret Agnoli and her husband Don of Longmeadow; Lois Jones of Vienna, VA; James W. Denman and Nici Hornblower of Southborough; loving grandmother of Rebecca McCormack and her husband Gunner, Matthew Smith, Angela Olivere and her husband Mark, Hillary Hamm and her husband Josh, Todd Denman and his wife Kathryn, Ryan Denman, Robbie Denman, Heather Maytham Denman and Adrian Bell,III, and Meghan Hornblower; loved great grandmother of James and Asa McCormack, Lillian, Andrew and Benjamin Olivere, and Zoey Hamm.

Visiting hours will be Friday, July 18, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM at Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St. Southborough.

Funeral service will be Saturday, July, 19 at 10:30 AM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 27 Main St., Southborough. Burial will follow in Southborough Rural Cemetery.

[Editor’s Note: I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Denman at the Southborough Library as a teenager. I remember her fondly.]

I was saddened to read this. Lois was a dear lady who gave much to the town of Southborough. May she rest in peace.
